I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne, studying social learning and conformity in children.

My PhD focused on the evolution of cumulative culture, specifically the role that innovation and behavioural flexibility play within this process. Supervised by Prof Andrew Whiten, I investigated these processes by providing artificial, tool-based foraging tasks to both chimpanzees and young children.

My research interests include social learning, innovation, tool-use and causal cognition in both humans and non-human primates.
